China Commodity Fair Australia Roadshow

The China Consumer Goods (Australia) Brand Exhibition Promotion Conference will be held on 12 July 2024 in Sydney. Liu Dianxun, Director General of the Bureau of Foreign Trade Development of the Ministry of Commerce, and Wang Chunsheng, Acting Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, will deliver speeches at the event, which will be attended by Invest NSW, Australian Government Trade and Investment Commission, and Australia China Business Council. And nearly 100 business and media people will attend.

Australian Product Showcase Week organised by Australia Made

Australian Made Week took place across Australia from 20 May to 26 May 2024. During this period, the 4,300 businesses that have the Australian Made logo proudly celebrated the occasion. These businesses came together to mark the week, and the Australian Government posted the logo at airports and on roads across the country. New media rolled out the logo across Australia, and on 23 May, there was an “Accessing the China Market” event in support of Australian Made.

The 6th China International Import Expo 2023

The Chinese version of the 2015 – 2022 Trade Report on China’s Food Imports from Australia was officially launched on the platform of the Livestock & Native Produce Chamber of Commerce in front of nearly 100 people, witnessed by Lauren Gibert, Austrade Trade Commissioner and Tony Zhang, Vice Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce (Shanghai).

Report launch at Parliament House, Canberra

The 2015 – 2022 Trade Report on China’s Food Imports from Australia was launched at the Australian China Business Council (ACBC) Annual Conference at Parliament House in Canberra on 18 October 2023, where 150 of Australia’s leading Chinese businesspeople heard the report and it was endorsed by the Commonwealth’s Minister for Trade and the Minister for Agriculture.

Report launch celebration at the Chinese Embassy , Canberra

The report was also endorsed by Ambassador Xiao Qian at the Chinese Ambassador’s Welcome Dinner in Australia and received suggestions and comments from Embassy staff, which will serve as a guide for future reports.
